Man seriously injured after being trapped in car
The man was rescued from his vehicle after the crash which occurred near the intersection of Rockhampton and Yeppoon roads about 3.40pm on Wednesday. Paramedics are now treating him on scene for significant arm and head injuries as well as taking spinal precautions. Five people in total were involved in the crash with four requiring assessments from emergency services before they all declined further transport.
