The 28-year-old woman who Jarryd Hayne was convicted of sexually assaulting has broken her silence days after the former NRL star was told by a judge hed be receiving an inevitable jail term.
Hayne, 33, had denied assaulting the woman, saying the September 2018 incident in her Newcastle bedroom was consensual.
After nearly 18 hours of deliberations, the Sydney District Court jury last week found Hayne guilty of two counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
