Bikies charged with 60 offences in Queensland police raids
Sixteen bikies and associates of motorcycle gangs have been charged with 60 offences as part of a police operation in the Mackay region.
Detectives from the Crime and Intelligence Command’s Organised Crime Gangs Group deployed to Mackay last week, where they executed 17 search warrants between March 18 and March 24.
A member of the Nomads outlaw motorcycle gang, a 36-year-old man, was charged with possessing tainted property, possessing explosives and possessing property suspected of being used in connection with drug offences, after police raided an Airlie Beach property.
Police said about $70,000 was seized during the search, with investigations ongoing.
