Brisbane lockdown extension possible after Princess Alexandra Hospital locked down, cases surged

There are fears Brisbane could spend Easter in isolation as the state’s COVID-19 cluster continues to grow.
The Queensland capital city entered a 72-hour circuit breaker lockdown on Monday night after four locally acquired cases were reported.

That number ballooned to eight daily new infections on Tuesday.
The spread has now extended out of Brisbane, with cases travelling as far as Gladstone and the Gold Coast.
