John Alexander Crowe, the father of actor Russell Crowe, has died onboard a Qantaslink flight.
A doctor and crew members attempted to resuscitate the 85-year-old during the flight from Sydney to Coffs Harbour on Tuesday but he couldnt be saved.
They basically gave him CPR for who knows how long … probably 18 to 20 minutes, fellow passenger Andrew Fraser told 7NEWS.
They worked tirelessly and continued after the flight had landed.
