Dual Olympic gold medal winner Katrina Powell has been named the new Hockeyroos coach, charged with reversing the teams culture problems and leading the squad to the Tokyo Olympics in July.
Powell won Hockeyroos gold at the 1996 and 2000 Sydney Olympics and also has a 1998 Commonwealth Games gold medal to her name, as well as one world cup gold medal (1998) and three Champions Trophy wins (1997, 1999 and 2003).
