Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital in strict lockdown after health worker’s COVID positive test

A rapidly evolving COVID emergency is unfolding at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, with the facility going into a strict lockdown.
7NEWS understands the drastic step has been taken because another health worker has tested positive for COVID-19.
Most patients are now being diverted to other hospitals although Princess Alexandra Hospital will still accept critical and category one elective surgery patients.
Staff who have worked in Ward 5D since March 18 are being urged to get tested…
