A three-day lockdown in Greater Brisbane has begun as authorities attempt to stop the spread of the highly contagious UK strain of coronavirus.
The lockdown applies the council areas of Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton and Redlands, from Monday 5pm until Thursday 5pm, but rules have been tightened across Queensland with tough penalties for those who do not comply.
