Kent relays fears for future of Origin, Test football after Taumalolo’s Maroons plea – Fox Sports
Paul Kent has delivered a passionate reality check for pundits supporting the movement to allow Jason Taumalolo to represent Queensland.
Taumalolo has lived in Queensland for most of his school years and has since gone on to play for the Cowboys.
He previously represented New Zealand before sparking the Tongan revolution in 2017, culminating in Tonga beating the Kiwis, Kangaroos and Great Britain in the space of two years.
But over the weekend Taumalolos manager, Chris Orr, has spruiked the idea that Taumalolo could represent the Maroons under his ex-Cowboys coach Paul Green.
