Body recovered from Sunshine Coast waters believed to be missing 21yo swimmer

A body believed to be that of 21-year-old Kyle Schroduer has been pulled from Sunshine Coast wasters.

Schroduer went missing while swimming at Coolum Beach on Saturday afternoon.

Police believe he became caught in a rip near Stumer’s Creek, which is an upatrolled area.

His disappearance about 4pm sparked a desperate search involving air and water crews.

They recovered his body within the search area about 2pm on Monday.
