WA coronavirus hard border with Queensland to be reimposed after new cases spark lockdown

Western Australia will reintroduce a hard border for travel from Queensland from midnight tonight.
WA Premier Mark McGowan said Queensland would transition from a “low risk” to a “medium risk” jurisdiction under the state’s controlled interstate border regime.
The changes mean travel from Queensland will no longer be permitted, other than for exempt travellers.
