Byron Bay venues on alert for COVID-19 after Brisbane announced lockdown

Visitors to two venues in Byron Bay have been placed on high alert for signs of COVID-19 after infectious Brisbane residents attended them.
Four new locally acquired cases of the virus were reported in Brisbane on Monday.
Two of those are a nurse and her sister who visited Byron Bay while infectious between last Thursday and Sunday.
Their visit has resulted in public health alerts being issued to people who attended a hotel and a farm in the New South Wales tourist destination.
