In a performance that will increase the pressure on coach Leon Cameron, the Giants were awful against the Dockers.
It may seem difficult to fathom how a side laden with so many topliners could have their colours lowered to this extent but the Giants depth is shallow and their best players are not exerting enough influence.
Cameron, who made the stunning call to dump captain Stephen Coniglio last year, slammed his players after a defeat which he conceded had dented his expectations for the season.
