‘I was desperate to stay’: Winless Waratahs sack Penney – Sydney Morning Herald
Following Saturday’s 46-14 loss to the Reds, the Waratahs’ fifth straight defeat, the NSW Rugby board has decided to terminate Penney’s contract.

Doorn said Penney wont receive a full payout but noted that a confidential settlement had been agreed by both parties.

To his credit, in many ways based off conversations weve had previously leading up to this point, it wasnt a dramatic surprise.
