The AFL decided to keep Brisbane mens team in Melbourne for at least another day on Sunday, to buy time before making a definitive call on where the Lions Thursday night game against Collingwood is played.
The Lions travel plans to return to Queensland put on hold within hours of their flights scheduled departure on Sunday. Sources close to the situation said the team was on the bus ready to leave for Melbourne airport but had been pulled off and were awaiting further instructions.
