Liberal MP Andrew Laming to quit politics at next election, Josh Frydenberg says

Queensland backbencher Andrew Laming has decided to quit politics at the next election, Deputy Liberal Leader Josh Frydenberg has revealed.
Yesterday the Prime Minister spoke to Dr Laming about his conduct after allegations of bad behaviour were made against him.
Mr Frydenberg said Dr Laming confirmed to Scott Morrison he did not intend to contest his seat at the next election.
“Andrew has reflected on that conversation with the Prime Minister and following that conversation with the Prime Minister he has decided not to recontest the next election,” he said.
More to come.
