Two motorcyclists die in separate crashes in south-east Queensland

The Browns Plains man died at the scene, while two 18-year-old women, the driver and passenger in the vehicle, were not injured.
The fatal crashes come just days after Queensland police issued a warning that there have been a high number of fatal traffic crashes involving motorcycles so far this year.
Including the crashes on Saturday, 23 motorcycle riders have been killed on Queensland roads in 2021, more than twice the amount than at the same time last year.
Road Policing Assistant Commissioner Ben Marcus said earlier this week that statistic was “shocking” for police and they were issuing an urgent safety call for riders.
