Cat banned for off-ball strike – and star Lion’s prediction wasn’t far off
Geelong forward Gary Rohan has been offered a two-game ban for striking Brownlow Medallist and Lions star Lachie Neale.
Match Review Officer Michael Christian assessed Rohans hit as intentional conduct, medium impact and high contact, which equates to a two-game ban.
After the incident, Neale was seen rubbing his jaw and holding up three fingers in Rohans direction in an apparent prediction of how many weeks the Cats player would cop from the MRO and, ultimately, he wasnt far off.
