20-year-old soldier dies after suspected heat exhaustion from Darwin training exercise
The Australian Defence Force has confirmed a young Australian soldier has died two-and-a-half weeks after collapsing during a training exercise in Darwin.

A spokeswoman from St John Ambulance said paramedics were called to East Point on the morning of March 8 following a report that the 20-year-old had collapsed from heat exhaustion.
Soldiers administered first aid before the man was taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital in a critical condition.
The ABC has been told he had a pre-existing medical condition.
