North Korea has said US President Joe Biden revealed “deep-seated hostility” in his criticism of its “self-defensive” missile test.

- North Korea said Washington might face “something that is not good” if it continues to make “thoughtless remarks”
- It said the US were “exploiting every opportunity” to provoke Pyongyang
- North Korea also slammed the South Korea-US exercises, which ended last week
On Friday, following reports of a projectile from Japan and South Korea, North Korea claimed it had launched a new type of tactical short-range ballistic missile.
Mr Biden said the test violated UN Security Council resolutions but that he remained open to diplomacy with Pyongyang.
