Former St Kevin’s College teacher denies child sex offence allegations

A teacher accused of child sex offences at a Melbourne prestigious boys’ school has vowed to clear his name, with his lawyer telling a magistrate that he intends to plead not guilty.

Michael Junkovic, 41, today appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court where he is facing two charges of sexual touching, which allegedly happened while he was a teacher at St Kevin’s College in Toorak in 2017.
Court documents reveal the alleged victim in both charges, a former student, was 16 years old.
