Fears for missing woman after car found in Barrington River, as NSW flood recovery grants announced

There are grave fears for an elderly woman on the NSW Mid-North Coast after her car was found submerged in a river, more than a week after she was reported missing.

Adele Morrison, 78, was last seen leaving her home in Port Macquarie on Tuesday morning last week to travel to Gloucester.
Police said their investigations have revealed she attended a shopping centre at Gloucester about four hours later that day.
