Former Queensland minister Trevor Perrett charged with rape, indecent treatment

Former Queensland minister Trevor John Perrett has been charged with rape.
Perrett has also been charged with 24 counts of indecently treating girls under 17.
“The charges relate to ongoing investigations into alleged historical offences,” Queensland police said.
Perrett, 79, was Primary Industries, Fisheries and Forestry Minister in the Borbidge government between 1996 and 1998.
