Queensland records one case of community transmission of COVID-19

Queensland has recorded one new case of locally transmitted coronavirus, with a 26-year-old Brisbane man infectious in the community since last Friday.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the man from the Brisbane suburb of Stafford has been infectious in the community since last Friday.
From midday aged care facilities, hospitals and prisons in the Brisbane City Council area will not be allowed visitors.
Ms Palaszczuk said people in crowded places in those areas will now be required to wear masks.
“These are sensible precautions to look after our most vulnerable,” Ms Palaszczuk said.
