Locally transmitted COVID case detected in Brisbane

A new locally transmitted case of COVID-19 has been detected in north Brisbane.
Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Health Minister Yvette D’Ath were set to hold a media conference at 10.30am to provide more detail.
Health staff in Brisbane have been notified and advised to wear face masks.
