Brisbane suburbs on alert after new COVID-19 detection in wastewater

Brisbane residents are being warning of the prospect of undetected COVID-19 cases after fragments were found in the city’s sewage.
Queensland Health has received new testing results of wastewater at the Luggage Point treatment plant, which services 96 suburbs.
Queensland’s Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young has used the findings to prompt people to get tested for coronavirus if they have any symptoms.
