NSW reports 15 cases, Parliament cancelled – The Australian Financial Review
Victorian authorities said the state’s 217 cases today was a “relief”. It is half Friday’s number even though testing rates were higher. There were two new deaths and NSW reported 15 new cases including five with no known cause. Follow updates here.
Premier Andrews again said the state would “look at other measures” if the current strategy looked like it was not being effective.
“It will be based on data, case numbers, transmission, all the other information you get when you have a proper granular look at the circumstances behind each of those positive cases.
“If we have any sense this strategy is not being as effective as we would like, as quickly as we would like, we will look at other measures.”
