We’ve had to wait an extra week, but Golden Slipper day has arrived with five Group Ones on a cracking nine-race card. It’s much brighter in Sydney this week and warm, fine weather is predicted for raceday. The track is a Heavy 9 (as of Thursday morning), but it could be upgraded to the soft range come Saturday with the favourable conditions. The rail is out 3m the entire circuit.
