Les Walker Queensland MP seen punched unconscious at Townsville nightclub in leaked footage

Footage has emerged of the moment Queensland Labor MP Les Walker was knocked unconscious at a local Townsville nightclub earlier this year.

Walker, member for Mundingburra, was punched out while celebrating his birthday with his wife and friends at the Mad Cow Tavern about 1am on January 16.

As seen in the video above, Walker was approached twice by two young men.

Walker is seen shoving a man, before another man lunges over and hits him in the face.
