Royal commission on gambling: Ray Finkelstein writes to Crown Resorts – The Australian Financial Review
Royal commissioner Ray Finkelstein has immediately asked Crown to confess its sins. How it responds will determine the path of the Victorian inquiry.
In it, the man known as Fink asked Crown to tell him whether it was in breach of any of its obligations whether imposed by statute, regulation, contract or otherwise.
Finkelstein says this will firstly help him find out if there have been any breaches, whether the Crown companies have systems in place that enable them to identify those breaches.
Finkelstein has immediately put Crown between a rock and a hard place.
If they dont have the required systems in place, that may have consequences, he warned…
