‘I ended up washing cars’: Perry waiting on call to get back to dream job in Japan – Sydney Morning Herald
The Australian went from playing on the world’s third-biggest tour to not knowing where his next pay cheque would come from because of the pandemic last year.

Dylan Perry went from playing in the worlds third-biggest golf tour in Japan to washing cars for a living on the Gold Coast in 2020, a year he calls less than ideal.
The 26-year-old, who was runner-up at the 2018 British Amateur Championship, went from living the dream to not knowing where his next pay cheque would come from. Now he is waiting for a call to say he is welcome back to Japan to get his career running up and again.
