Rex struggles to fill new Sydney-Melbourne flights – The Australian Financial Review
Regional Express had just 21 passengers travelling on its midday flight from Sydney to Melbourne on Tuesday, an industry source says.

Rex operates Boeing 737-800 NG planes, which the manufacturer says max out at 189 seats, on the Sydney to Melbourne route three to seven times per day. It will launch Gold Coast-Melbourne and Melbourne-Adelaide services later this week, and Sydney-Gold Coast flights from April with the same jets.
