Airwallex raises another $US100m as valuation soars – The Australian Financial Review
Airwallex is now worth $US2.6 billion, less than six years after CEO Jack Zhang co-founded the company in Melbourne.
We want to focus on the market expansion in the US, UK and Europe for the rest of 2021, he said.
Were increasing the headcount in the UK from 30 to 40 people to almost 100 by the end of the year, in the US were increasing from a dozen to about 50 and in Australia well also double in size and similarly in greater China.
All up, Airwallex has 500 open roles currently across its 12 global offices and already employs 600 people.
