A man who says he helped a three-time world champion kayaker and his younger brother try to smuggle almost $200 million worth of cocaine into Australia has told a court what happened when they were intercepted at sea.

Anthony Draper gave evidence in the Supreme Court in Brisbane on Wednesday, explaining his role in the alleged crime.
