Police find missing Gold Coast man’s ute overturned in creek
Police have found the ute of a missing Gold Coast man overturned in Canungra Creek.
Water police and QFES swift water rescue were at the scene on Wednesday afternoon trying to pull the vehicle from the water.

A QFES spokesman said five crews arrived about 1pm, with three crews at the vehicle’s location and two further downstream.
David Hornman, 38, has gone missing amid wild weather in the Scenic Rim.
On Tuesday police released an image of David Hornman, 38, from Canungra, who was last seen leaving a home on Lamington National Park Road about 6am on Monday and has not contacted family since.
