The ‘embarrassing’ detail causing latest fury in US college saga
The NCAA has come under fire once again for its treatment of womens basketball during this months March Madness.
A video went viral last week of the weights section the female athletes were provided with in comparison to the males, prompting the likes of NBA superstars Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving to get involved.
That led to NCAA vice president Dan Gavitt apologised on Friday, saying: We have intentionally organised basketball under one umbrella, with the goal of consistency and collaboration….
