Body found as car pulled from rain-hit Gold Coast creek amid missing person search

A body has been found in a car which was pulled from a rain-impacted creek in the Gold Coast hinterland.
The discovery comes amid the search for missing Canungra man David Hornman.
The car was spotted upturned and near-submerged Canungra Creek on Wednesday afternoon.
The body inside has not been identified.
Hornman, 38, was reported missing after leaving a home on Lamington National Park Road about 6am.
It is unknown if his disappearance was related to weather conditions at the time.
