Gippsland roads cut and power out, but farmers welcome the rain
Some parts of Gippsland have recorded more than 100 millimetres overnight, with more rain forecast today.

Flash flooding is occurring in Mallacoota, Yarram and Won Wron where the highest totals have been recorded.
About 2,500 homes are without power across Eastern Victoria, including most resident in the remote town of Mallacoota, after a tree fell on the line in the area about 11pm last night during strong winds.
Another 613 customers in Maffra, and 337 customers in Metung on the Gippsland Lakes are also without power.
