New Zealand is exceptionally unlikely to make changes to its COVID-19 alert level settings despite a cleaner at a border hotel testing positive to the virus.
On Monday night, health authorities announced the new case arising from the Grand Millennium Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand’s biggest managed isolation facility.
COVID-19 Minister Chris Hipkins said the chances it would prompt a tightening of alert level settings or a return to lockdown were “very, very, very low”.
