Senior meteorologist Peter Markworth said storms were possible on Tuesday night and isolated showers were predicted for across south-east Queensland on Tuesday afternoon.
“We are expecting potential showers and storms throughout the evening but we might not see too much rainfall overnight,” he said.
“I would get ready to hide your umbrellas but not your gum boots because there’s still a bit of local flooding.”
