New COVID-19 cluster found as NSW tightens rules for public gatherings – Sydney Morning Herald
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced a further tightening of restrictions on restaurants, cafes and bars from next Friday.
NSW Health also announced its contact tracing team had expanded to more than 380 from just six employees at the start of the pandemic in an effort to have close contacts of all new cases isolated for the full incubation period of 14 days.
Ms Berejiklian declared there should be “no singing, no dancing, no mingling” at gatherings as she announced the restrictions.
