Crash closes Bruce Highway northbound, man in serious condition
The Bruce Highway was closed to vehicles travelling north and a man taken to hospital in a serious condition following a two-vehicle crash at the Fraser Coast on Monday morning.
The crash happened about 9.30am on the Bruce Highway and Charnocks Road at Tiaro, south of Maryborough, with northbound lanes on the highway shut.
A helicopter had arrived at the scene.
Paramedics treated a man in his 30s who was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital in a serious condition.
A woman suffered a leg injury, while another woman was being treated for a back injury.
