Top cop warns PM’s office to keep nose out of rape investigation

Australia’s top cop has raised concerns with the nation’s most senior public servant about simultaneous investigations linked to the alleged rape of a former Liberal staffer.

Australian Federal Police Commissioner Reece Kershaw on Monday revealed he had contacted Department of Prime Minster and Cabinet secretary Phil Gaetjens about the Brittany Higgins matter.
