NSW flood extends to south-east Queensland, with Gold Coast residents on alert
A once-in-50-year rain event battering New South Wales is also impacting south-east Queensland.
Heavy rain on the Gold Coast on Sunday resulted in an emergency alert being issued for a trio of water catchments.

Residents in the Currumbin, Mudgeeraba and Tallebudgera catchments were impacted by the alerts.
