Penrith set incredible NRL record with 28-0 win over Bulldogs at Bankwest Stadium – Wide World of Sports
First team in more than a century to achieve feat

Penrith coach Ivan Cleary has lauded his side’s defence, after the Panthers became the first team ever to keep their opponents scoreless in each of their first two matches of the season.
Penrith’s 28-0 win over the Bulldogs comes after their 24-0 shutout of the Cowboys in round one.
When added to their 42-0 win over the Bulldogs in round 26 last year, they’ve now gone three consecutive regular season matches without conceding a point, the first side to do so since the Roosters in 1919.
