One killed after crash near Mackay

Emergency services were called to Mackay Eungella Road in Mirani just before 8pm this evening.The person died at the scene.A man with lower back pain was taken to Mackay Hospital in a stable condition.All lanes are blocked and the road has been close in both directions on Mackay Eungella Road between Walz Lane and Otterburn Connors Road.Police are urging motorists to avoid the area.The Forensic Crash Unit are attending the crash.
