Amazon Echo users are to be given the chance to improve their vocabulary thanks to a new Word of the Day feature with language expert and Countdown panellist Susie Dent.
As part of an update, users will be able to ask virtual assistant Alexa for a word of the day for the next month in order to hear a new word and simple definition.
The feature launches on Thursday with the word nod-crafty, meaning the habit of nodding the head with an air of great wisdom.
