Nearly seven out of every 100 Wuhan residents developed antibodies against the coronavirus over the first five months of Covid-19 outbreak in the city that was once the epicenter of Chinas epidemic, according to a new paper published in The Lancet medical journal.
The study also found that 82% of the people who had antibodies were asymptomatic, suggesting that symptoms in many infected individuals might be too mild for them to need medical attention.
