A Brisbane private school captain who has made national headlines for a powerful speech against “rape culture” has revealed the heartbreaking moment he learned his mother was abused.
Mason Black, captain of the prestigious Brisbane Boys’ College, has told the student body he felt “sick” and “embarrassed” after the school was recently publicly named in women and girls’ testimonies of their experiences with sexual assault.
