Brisbane man’s disappearance sparks search and rescue operation

A land and air search of bushland is under way as police try to find a man missing from north of Brisbane last week.
The 59-year-old man was reported missing from Everton Park since March 14.

He was last seen leaving a property on Stellmach Street about 8am last Sunday in a 2011 Toyota Landcruiser, which was found on Thursday west of Kilkivan, near Gympie, north of the Sunshine Coast.
